WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO GET A KENTUCKY MEDICAL CANNABIS CARD?
To qualify, you must: • Be a Kentucky resident • Be 18 or older (our clinic currently certifies adults only) • Have a qualifying medical condition • Not have a disqualifying felony under Kentucky law • Receive a certification from a board‑certified physician or nurse practitioner Your provider will confirm your condition, review your history, and decide if medical cannabis is appropriate for you.
IS MEDICAL MARIJUANA LEGAL IN KENTUCKY?
Yes. Medical cannabis is legal statewide under Senate Bill 47.Patients who qualify and receive a certification from a board‑certified provider can apply for a Kentucky medical cannabis card. Approved patients may possess legal medical cannabis products (such as flower for vaporization, capsules, tinctures, edibles, and topicals). Smoking cannabis remains prohibited under current law.
